Owner Cathy Calhoun and her educated staff are ready to make your best moments even more memorable. The team works to provide a pleasant experience from your first step into our store to the moment you slip on your new jewelry and beyond with our private collection, custom designs, estate jewelry and jewelry repairs.

Cathy brings an unmatched passion and knowledge to Calhoun Jewelers with years of experience with fine jewelry. In addition to serving as president of the American Gem Society (2010-2012), she is proud to be the Pennsylvania Jeweler of the Year (2009). Cathy serves on the Board of Directors for the Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company, Jewelers for Children, Diamond Empowerment Fund and Jewelers of America.
Cathy has been featured as a jewelry expert on Antiques Road Show, Good Morning America, World News Tonight, Travel Channel, CNN Money and HGTV’s “If Walls Could Talk” and “You Live in What.”
Michael LaMiaux is our Store Manager at CALHOUN ESTATE JEWELERS, Carmel-by-the-Sea, California…..West Coast.Before Managing our Carmel-by-the-Sea location, he was the Store Manager for our Flagship store in Pennsylvania for 20 years. Majoring in marketing during college he went on to start his own publishing company and in the early 90″s went on to open an Ice Cream Store & Bakery. In 1998, while still running the ice cream store he was offered a position as manager for Calhoun Jewelers then decided to further his education focusing on his passion for jewelry and the jewelry industry.
In 2010 Michael became a Registered Jeweler with the American Gem Society.
These days, he no longer scoops ice cream, instead, he shares his knowledge of some of the most beautiful works of art found in Antique and Estate Jewelry!
He enjoys working closely with clients, helping them find that “perfect” piece of jewelry, that not only fits their need, but their style and personality.
Joan Austerberry Joan is one of our Jewelry Design Specialist, she assists customers in determining their vision and personal style so that each of our beautiful and unique creations find their proper home. Joan comes with a tremendous education background and years of Real Estate experience.
